This morning in Church, I gave a short testimony of what God has been doing to heal me from eczema. And I would like to share my story in pictures here.

These photos have not been touched up in any way – you can tell from the different quality of the photos. 🙂 They were taken with my mobile phone and I tried as much as possible to take the photos in natural light.

Look out for more posts to come on what God led me to do which led to the start of the physical healing, what I have learnt through this affliction and what God is doing in my life.

It started with just one spot on my left index finger sometime in June 2011. Photo taken on 15 Aug 2011.
The rash slowly spread to the back of the hand. Sept 2011.
It was very dry and nothing I applied on it helped. 9th Nov 2011
Healed!
Rash spreads to the other hand. It would also eventually spread upwards to my forearm and upper arm. 08042012.
Back of right hand. Most of the rash subsided. Only the knuckles are dry and itchy. 11082012.
Rash keeps right on spreading. It travelled up my forearm as well as my upper arms. It continued to creep up to my wrist and spread to almost the entire back of the hand.

Top of left arm. Only God can do this. The marks you see are scars which are slowly fading away. 11th Aug 2012.
Healed!
Entire calf and ankle covered in rash.It was red and swollen. 22062012.
Look at what God did! 05072012.
It started with 2 spots on my ankle which joined to become one red and angry rash that covered my ankle. 26032012.
It spread and grew angrier and redder. It became slightly swollen. 05072012.
See how the rash continued to spread upwards to my thighs. 30052012.
Much improvement! Look at what God did! There are still stubborn patches but nothing like what it was before. 30072012.
The rash on my neck also started out as a small spot and then it grew and spread down to my chest. Parts of my face were afflicted as well, including the corners of my mouth. 08042012.
Healed! The Lord is MY Healer! This was the first part God healed to build my faith. How I clung to His word and promises even as the rash continued to spread elsewhere! 27052012.

All glory to Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals!

He’s not done with me yet – neither physically nor spiritually. But He will! Because Philippians 1:6 says, “…He who began a good work in (me) will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

  2. I’ve been following your blog cuz my son has eczema (not severe) around his lips. I’m just speechless to see what God has done! No words good enough just in awe of His goodness and faithfuless! Looking forward to more posts/testimony of how He healed and is healing you!
