For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:20
How apt that we should be reading this for our Bible studies this week as we enter into Holy Week. It is a good reminder for me that indeed my life is not my own. It has been purchased with the blood of the Lamb. And I need to live my life worthy of that price paid. No, not to save the world or invent a cure to some illness 🙂 But to glorify Him.
Every year come this season, I like to take time to reflect on what the Lord has done for me and our family and to thank Him for rescuing us from a life of hopeless and mind living.
I hope you will do so too 🙂 It is easy to dismiss His act of sacrifice in the midst of our busy-ness. But don’t. Remember, we serve a Risen Saviour. And because of that, life is worth living!
I leave you with this hymn that is perfect for this season.
