Making everyone dress in the same colour is fun! Here are some pictures of us in our colour coordinated clothes as we went visiting this Chinese New Year.
Visiting relatives in bright red makes everyone’s day. The girls are in skirts that I had sewed for them. The baby doesn’t have a red tee – yet! So she’s in her dress with special embroidery. Check it out in the next photo.
- Is she cute or is she cute? Yes, I am biased 😀 Oh and the words are “Still nursing & loving it!”
Here we are in our specially embroidered polo tees, ordered from Baby At Work.
Since we couldn’t go visiting in black, we decided to wear our black tees to Church instead! I ordered them from Inktastic.
I ordered these dresses from Land’s End’s Overstocks for the 4 older girls to use as nightgowns.
Wearing coordinated clothing is a thrill for the children. And it sure makes it easy for us to spot them when we are in a crowd!
Haha, so cute! You’ve got a great looking family. 🙂
Thanks Wei Wei. Sam – I don’t like to wear red!
We always wear all-red for CNY day 1 & 2. Day 1 is always a little more formal with shirts/blouses. Day 2 t-shirts for the kids.
This year all the boys had the exact same outfits or tops! Yeah, quite fun. But I did stop at getting dh the same t-shirt as the boys. Couldn’t imagine him wearing a collarless shirt for CNY – which he never does.
AH! So sweet! Thanks for your ideas and the links! I like to dress my 4 with the same outfit too;)
ps: Your home sewn bags are so lovely too
I love the pics 🙂 it´s great & not easy to have everyone in their best poses in every shot! well done 🙂
WOW!! How in the world did you manage to get 7 kids + 2 adults to smile at the camera at the SAME time???!!! 🙂
