Week 32
Ack! I don’t believe this. I am back to feeling nauseous and bloated all over again.
Why oh why??? Could it due to the cup of tea I drink every morning to pep me up? Well, I have diluted the tea to just 1 teaspoon of tea leaves vs 1 heaped tablespoon. Is the baby that sensitive to caffeine? Maybe I have to try to leave off caffeine and see if it improves.
This is the first time I am actually nauseous in my 3rd trimester. And of course I can’t drink fresh milk anymore either. It’s not so much the nasal congestion that gets to me but the bloated feeling that makes me so uncomfortable.
But I must say the RRL tea is very soothing to me. So that’s what I have been drinking ever since I hit 28 weeks. One cup a day and now 3 cups a day. I’ll be upping my intake to 1 litre a day (mixed with Nettle) once I get my stash of herbs, hopefully by next week. And for a change, I’ll probably be drinking Mother’s Nutritious Tea 4 Two as well.
Let’s hope that weaning myself off caffeine will not be too bad – read : no headaches! And these teas will help with the process.
