Breastfeeding consumes lots of calories and one of the ways to entice new moms to persevere or at least try breastfeeding is to let them know that breastfeeding helps one lose one’s post partum weight much faster than if one didn’t breastfeed.
But that’s not the point I am making with this post. 🙂
I just want to say I am hungry ALL the time! I guess it doesn’t help that the little one is nursing every 1.5 to 2 hrs round the clock.
I guess if I were disciplined enough to control the urge to eat, I could lose my pregnancy weight real fast. But…nah! Life’s too short and I’m too ill-disciplined!
And no, please don’t tell me that it would all be ok if I were to snack on healthy snacks. What is a snack if it ain’t rich, creamy and chocolately??? 😛
Cheh, if i don’t eat, i actually get nauseous & even dizzy!!!! So don’t keep gobbling also cannot.
well at least you work it off with all the walking you do daily! but now being so sleep deprived have to eat to keep awake!
me too! When I need to keep awake, I like chocolate, and I do tend to get “binges”. As in, I’d really gobble those up non-stop! Not good. But if I’m driving, esp long afternoon drive, a packet of M&Ms quite a must. Or else fall asleep.
Exactly! I just bought 2 litres worth of choolate milk 🙂 There goes any hope of losing weight! Will just be glad that I don’t put on at the rate I am eating!
