Yep, on Monday, we start school. Or should I say, finish up school 🙂
Our school year starts either in July/August and ends in June/July. For the current school year, we started in July 2008 but will finish in July 2009 – one extra month. This is all courtesy of having a baby in March. We stopped school for two months and now need to finish up our school year.
So come Monday, 4th May 2009, we would be on our last leg of our school year. I don’t know how exactly it would pan out though I have our schedule pinned up and ready to go.
On paper, it always looks good. Even though I have planned for numerous diaper changes and toddler tantrums, I know things never work out according to plan and just have to go with the flow.
After doing this for some years now, we will all have to learn to go with the flow – like it or not. Otherwise someone is going to have a nervous breakdown. Perfectionism and large families just don’t go together.
And if all works as planned, then you would not be hearing much from me or get such lovely long posts 🙂 And if you do, it means I am skivving or I am super stressed out and need to de-stress by blogging about it!
