So, over lunch one day, we were told that our sharing of my supernatural childbirths was stumbling?!?! Seriously???!!! How?!?!?!? How is giving glory to God stumbling??? I still cannot get over it.
Experiencing God In Pregnancy Talks
When we shared Experiencing God in Pregnancy, the sharing was meant to encourage mothers-to-be not to accept that pain and epidurals are all par for the course when it comes to giving birth. It is not. However, we are not insisting that everyone must have a supernatural, pain free birth or that one is holier or more spiritual if one birthed without painkillers or assistance. NOPE, we are not saying that at all! But it is possible. And if you feel that is not for you, then so be it. It is not a salvation issue 🙂 And we still give God all glory and stand by what we shared.

Your sharing actually encouraged me. It showed me what is possible. Even though after that the birth of my first was far from supernatural, on hindsight, it had God’s handprints all over it. The birth of the second child was fabulous, almost miraculous. Must say thanks to your sharing. And a huge thanks to our Father God.
